Some players must have the feeling that the new classic guitar is very hard to tune and it does not hold the tune for long. Is it something wrong with the guitar or the strings?
Actually, as for staying in tune, it is almost always a "fault" with the strings rather than the guitar. The classic strings are nylon so beware that it will easily come out of tune because the nylon strings need to stretch and that take time. New nylon strings do not hold their tuning very well as they stretch from the tension. Once you've been playing them for sometime, they tend to hold their tuning fine. Though you should always tune before playing, anyway.
If your strings break, make sure to restring with classic guitar strings and not acoustic guitar strings, as steel strings could pull the bridge off the guitar or break the turning machines.
